I had been experiencing, itchy, dry eyes and occasionally crusty material forming in the corners of my eyes. I attended an optician appointment at Jackson Eye Care in New Romney, Kent and it was suggested that I have also have a check for eye conditions that causes dry eye. The procedure for checking is straight forward with each step of the process explained beforehand. I found it fascinating to be able to view the images of my eyelids and eyes and have the reason behind my dry eyes explained. This resulted in a course of treatment being advised with a follow-up treatment session. A subsequent check-up has found a significant improvement in the condition of my eyes and I haven’t experienced any itching, dryness or crusty material since. I’m very satisfied with the professional approach provided at Jackson Eye Care and would recommend people to make an appointment.

I was unhappy with glasses supplied by Jackson & Co for a year but the practice ascertained that my sight was fuzzy from Blepharitis and my prescription had changed slightly but significantly. Visits to Stef for ophthalmology, John for "Dry Eye" treatment, and Daniel for amazingly sharp new lenses, with fabulous new frames, has convinced me this is a top practice!

I'm absolutely delighted with my glasses - they are by far the best quality lenses I've had - the clarity is excellent with no blurry areas at all, and the glasses themselves are gorgeous - it's so refreshing to find somewhere that sells unusual frames!! I definitely recommend them and the thorough service they give.. I just marked down a star because the optician herself questioned me as to the reasons I am exempt from wearing a mask - which is a deeply personal matter, not to mention discriminatory.
