We moved house last week and chose Jeakins removals. They were absolutely brilliant. Provided all packing materials in good time. They preloaded the day before and then finished loading on the day of the move. The team was led by Lewis who was so professional. A special mention for Ben also. Booked by the council to move me into and out of temporary. Accommodation . Was on time. However, in the first move, my fridge was broken . I was told the gent, which caused the break, was on his first day The second move back Into my permanent accommodation (08/07/21) went okay until I get home and turn on my 55inch TV to find screen to be destroyed and my TV Unusable due to the damage Friendly staff but seems to be careless with clients' belongings. Do you research before booking . I don't recommend it due to the broken belongings Update : Company REFUSED to take responsibility and even went as far as saying I broke it myself! I used the TV the morning of the move ( and it was fine), and I turned it on when I got home DO NOT USW THIS COMPANY THEY ARE CARELESS , USELESS, AND SHOULDN'T BE USED IF YOU WANT YOUR BELONGINGS IN ONE PEICE

Fantastic service from Dave and Ben! Couldn't fault a thing, they were beyond helpful, happy and positive. Took the stress of moving day away and made it really enjoyable. Jeakins moved us from Witham to North Yorkshire. The guys went over and above in moving us especially when it came to a tricky wardrobe, they were not going to be beaten! I can't fault their service or find anything that they can improve on. Moving such a long distance could be stressful enough but the smooth and well rehearsed operation meant it all went very well despite the cold temperatures. Well done guys.
