We have just returned from a wonderful stay at Drover’s Rest. Our second visit within the year and we plan to return. It is very much open and a first class cottage. It is the perfect get away from busy life. The house itself is beautiful. A lot of care and attention has been given. It is comfortable and clean and somewhere you want to relax and enjoy. It sits surrounded by stunning views and there are lots of walks right from the door. If you want more Shrewsbury and Ludlow are not far away and nice places to visit. Our two small children love it just as much as we do. This time they loved seeing all the lambs and foals that are practically on the doorstep. Simon the owner is on hand when needed and goes the extra mile. We had an amazing welcome pack with lovely local produce as well as very good bottle of wine. We have stayed at many holiday cottages and this is by far the best.

Drover's Rest cottage is absolutely stunning! The owners have thought of everything and we feel so lucky to have found such a gem in the hills. Tasteful, understated luxury, fabulous attention to detail, beautifully clean and so comfortable. What more can I say? - Oh yes, it's set within one of Britain's finest landscapes and the views are quite incredible! A well deserved 5 of 5 - can't wait to visit again soon.
