Only called for coffee, and a nose. The coffee was nice and came in a jug, and very reasonably priced. My only comment would be the bar seemed quite dark, a lighter wall decoration would be more welcoming. Otherwise no complaint.

A real hotel of 2 halves. Great location. Very friendly and accommodating staff, especially in the restaurant. Great to have two rooms which were ground floor and connected whilst holidaying with children and grandparents. Good parking and WiFi. Unfortunately the restaurant menu was quite limited and as Bank Holiday ran out of quite a few meals on day two of our stay. The quality of food wasn't great. Tough over cooked chicken, fatty steak, cheap shop bought chicken pie. They also ran out of beef requested on draft. The rooms were quite small and one children's bed was a pull out and very uncomfortable for an 11 year old. The TV reception was patchy and the shower tiny. But having said that we had a lovely time and the staff made up for it. Rooms: Small with small shower. Fridge in rooms was great. WiFi good.

Judd's Folly hosted my youngest daughter's wedding at the end of May 2023, the venue is really beautiful and the staff are more than helpful. Jason and his team provide a welcoming genuine atmosphere that is rare experience in today's world. The outside area where marriages can be conducted when the weather permits is both peaceful and memorable. The catering was excellent and the portion size spot on. Finally a big thank you to Carlie the wedding planner who made it all come together. Duncan

Wow, what a wonderful wedding experience! (Saturday 20th May) We were greeted with a friendly and cheerful welcome as we came to check in, with friends, for our overnight stay. It was our son and daughter-in-law's wedding that day, and everything was just perfect! The beautiful setting in such peaceful surroundings, friendliness of the staff, the organisation, the Pimms (beers for the males) and canapes (yummy!) and relaxed atmosphere, made it a special day to remember. Nothing was too much trouble and the whole wedding was just wonderful. We were fortunate with the weather so were able to sit outside surrounded by trees, and enjoy the ceremony taking place in the pergola/gazebo. Everyone said how much they enjoyed that! Inside, tables were laid out, and decorated, and nothing was rushed. We enjoyed our tasty barbecue meal, and felt confident in the capable hands of the lovely wedding organiser. Our booked accommodation was in a bungalow setting in the Yew Tree area, which was so peaceful, and overlooked trees and fields, and even a few sheep, which felt very pastoral. There was even a patio table and chairs outside in which to relax and unwind for a few peaceful moments. (Or longer if you have the time!) Breakfast was delicious! So much choice, and plenty of it! Fruit, yoghurts, pastries, cereals, bacon, eggs, sausages, tomatoes, mushrooms etc and toast (make yourself white/brown bread) marmalades and jams, fruit juice, tea, coffee etc. All made even more enjoyable by the helpful, and jolly, manager in charge of the breakfast area. Sorry, it was all so exciting that I forgot to check names!! We checked out on Sunday around 10.30am ( so no rush to eat that delicious breakfast!) but were sorry to leave! I would thoroughly recommend a wedding, and/or a stay here. Great atmosphere, with friendly and helpful staff. It was lovely! Thank you.

Yesterday my husband and I had the wedding of our dreams. Carlie our amazing wedding planner was on the ball and had the order of the day run like clock work. As the bride I was made to feel very special and no request was too big. The food was amazing and the staff all worked so hard. Jason and Chris are Amazing! Honestly hands down you all made our day so special. We 💯 recommend for your special day and we will definitely return each year for our wedding anniversary ❤️

(Translated by Google) We recommend! Very friendly team! We stayed 2 nights in a small apartment that was newly renovated. The food was fresh and we enjoyed it very much. Around the hotel you can hike through Schaafweiden, which look like an English landscape park. (Original) Sehr zu empfehlen! Sehr freundliches Team!
