Sorry for the delay Julien! I've been meaning to write this for about two weeks now and I kept getting distracted. Basically, a few weeks ago, I had a sudden build-up of pain around my neck and shoulders and started getting spasms running up the back of my neck and into my head (from a combo of gym work, sitting at a computer for work, and other sports). I was due to travel to visit the fam up north, and I thought, I need to do something about this before I go. A quick google search threw out Julien's name and very luckily, he had a slot available that day. Let me tell you, firstly, Julien is a really nice guy, totally put me at ease, and his massage/acupuncture combo is excellent. He also did a bit of osteo-style work on my back, and I could feel/hear the bones/vertebrae clicking as he worked. There was a lot of tension in my mid-back, and he said, look we aren't gonna fix this in an hour but I'll do my best. He really did work it, and knew exactly how much pressure it needed. Julien is a powerful guy, and it wasn't all comfortable, but it wasn't too painful either. The balance was on point. Given the amount of work needed to loosen my back up, Julien had to go for longer than the hour, but he did this - eventually working on me for almost 90 mins, and he did it at the 60 min price-point. I was really grateful for this, I felt like he really went the extra mile to help me get some relief. If I was wealthier, I'd be back every week for more. As it is, I will def be back again, and I would recommend Julien to anyone without hesitation. Lovely guy, great massage. Thanks Julien, you're the best ;)

Highly, highly recommended and without reservation. I have had literally hundreds of massages over the past 30 years - they are my treat/self-care thing - and my treatment today from Julien was one of, if not the, best sports massages I have ever had. Julien has a fantastic manner and technique and he is thoughtful, reactive and knowledgeable. I have had chronic and severe muscular back pain since my early 20s and I am excited about what the prospect of seeing Julien regularly from now on holds for the future. The beautifully appointed treatment room is spacious and comfortable and is in an excellent and convenient location in E8, a few minutes' walk from both Dalston Junction and Dalston Kingsland stations.
