  I recently had a bespoke dress made and designed by Jo (to be worn at my wedding in the summer of this year). I have been so overwhelmed by the care and intricacy in Jo’s work; the way she works with materials and understands movement; and her ability to turn an idea into a beautiful garment. I met Jo with a vague idea of what I wanted and a million opinions on what I didn’t want (an unclear and slightly chaotic brief!) but Jo brought such clarity and creativity to my vision. Being around someone who is so good at their craft has been so inspiring; wedding prep can feel meaninglessly expensive and empty at times but this experience has been the opposite. I will forever treasure the memory of my dress turning from sketch to toile to the finished piece. It’s been an absolute pleasure to get to know Jo; I can’t recommend her enough - she, as much as the dress, has been one of the highlights of my wedding experience thus far.

  Jo and her assistant Violetta were so patient with me throughout the process of creating my bespoke wedding dress. The initial design evolved and it was not the most straightforward dress to make but despite this they managed to create the most beautiful dress! I could not recommend them more highly and I am so excited to wear my dress on my wedding day.

  Jo is unbelievably talented. I still have people coming up to me asking if I was the woman who wore “that amazing wedding dress”. I had tried so many failed dresses on in shops and then, I met Jo. From my garbled (probably contradictory) idea of what I wanted, she designed a dress that was simply perfect. I ended up loving the process- Jo is so creative, honest and patient. Jo was so lovely and accommodating and met me within days in her studio to help make my dreams a reality. She created the most floaty, elegant veil that perfectly complimented my dress and was within my budget, all packaged up in record time ready for my flight.   Jo created my dream dress! I had a hard time finding the perfect dress, until I came across the beautiful gowns of Julita. The moment I saw the Anemos gown I knew it would be the perfect fit for our beach elopement. Jo made everything happen and was the nicest person to work with creating such a special beautiful gown. Because of her, the proces of finding my wedding dress and creating it to all of my wishes to the very last details, everything felt amazing and fun. Buying your wedding dress should be enjoyable and a magical experience and Jo really made that happen even though we had to do everything online with such a short time frame I never worried. The dress was perfect at the first fitting. She creates magic with such a passion and puts so much love in her work that really shows on all of her designs. I felt like a goddess in my wedding dress.

  Where do I even start? From the time I met Jo I knew she was the person who would be designing my dress - not only because I loved her designs and craftsmanship but also because she is possibly the nicest person I have ever met. Not only did I not really have a vision, but I also had an expanding baby bump which Jo had to accommodate for. I fell in love with a fabric that was incredibly difficult to work with and had no stretch for the bump, but somehow Jo made it work. Not only did she make it work but it was the most unique and exquisite dress Ive ever seen. I sort of had an idea of what I wanted it to look like, but Jo blew my vision out of the water and created something I could never even have dreamed up. Im half tempted to get a divorce so that I can remarry so Jo can create another dress for me :) I looked forward to our fittings so much - nothing was too much for Jo and she makes you feel so comfortable. she is just the absolute best - could not recommend enough.
