This place was recommended by a friend, so the two of us took my mum along, early one Friday evening. It was quiet when we got there, so the chef/owner said hello and then made a couple of recommendations for my mum, who's got quite a low chili tolerance. She had a Peshwari chicken (see pic) and a Peshwari naan, and was well pleased. My friend and I went for a couple of hotter dishes (chili garlic chicken and the day's special, as recommended by the chef, lamb and cabbage) and a couple of sides (mushroom bhuna and a saag bhaji). Long story short, the food was lovely, the service was excellent, and we'll definitely be back 😀 Parking: There's quite a bit of free parking nearby, but also quite a lot of people wanting to park their cars, so allow yourself a bit of time to find a space. Also, read the signs. Spaces close to each other can have different rules, e.g. you can park in some resident parking spaces but only outside the hours stated on the sign(s)

I rarely write low rated reviews but this meal was that disappointing. The sauce was watery and tasteless, the cheap sauce jars at shops have more taste than this, there was no richness of butter in a butter focused dish but instead more of a watery bland soup. I ordered lamb tikka for the meat but was given plain flavourless lamb instead and there was a sharp bone in two of the lamb pieces that could of easily damaged someone. The wraps were very small for how much they cost, not much taste here either. The price they ask for such tasteless low quality food it feels like a rip off lol, I won't be ordering here again.

Authentic Indian food, brilliant homely taste away from home. Literally felt like the food critics in the Ratatouille movie; brought me back to memories back in hometown. Highly recommended and will be a regular henceforth. Vegetarian options: Not all Indian restaurants can bring out the authentic indian vegetarian cuisine taste to life, but the kadir does. Amazing experience.
