My wife and I had a fantastic lunch at Kebbells, we went on a warm but blustery Wednesday lunch time in May, the restaurant was not that busy but it’s such a beautiful dinning space, I believe you could dine alone and enjoy the nice atmosphere the dinning room has. Onto the food…. We had oysters to start served simply with a delicious vinegar/shallot dressing, it was moscatel vinegar instead of red wine vinegar, small detail but really noticeable difference for the better, delicious and really good quality. Then enjoyed the bouillabaisse special & the day boat bbq fish special, the later served with a slightly spicy but rich with shellfish flavour katsu sauce that was delicious, really went well with the perfectly bbq’d fish. Service was very good, time was taken to explain the concept of sharing small and large dishes and if I lived closer would be back this weekend to try some more dishes from the menu. Fantastic selection of wines by the glass too, highly recommend the Chablis. Thanks to the team at Kebbells for a memorable lunch.
