Wouldn't recommend. I went to lessons here twice per week for about 8 weeks - Kempo Jujitsu itself was great, really interesting and fun. Unfortunately, the lessons themselves are awful and the atmosphere is even worse. The teacher, Hanshi, spent the majority of the time sitting down playing on his phone and left everybody to pretty much teach themselves. Myself and other beginners were assigned an assistant instructor sometimes for 15-30 minutes or so, and he was really great, but we didn't learn much past the second lesson. One of the guys there had been going for 10 months and was still doing the same things I had been doing since that second lesson in the first week (that other guy also had a black belt in something else I believe, Tae Kwon Do or karate maybe, I was a total beginner. Neither of us were actually helped or taught things during the session except for the half an hour being shown things we had already covered, we would be shown them then told to just keep repeating the same thing for the rest of the two hour session. Pretty much told to keep out the way). In the 8 weeks I was going I saw about 10 new people turn up to try it out and not one of those came back again while I was there. The only people relatively new to Kempo Jujitsu was myself and the guy who told me he had been going for 10 months or so. That being said, a lot of the people there are black belts in Kempo Jujitsu. If you are already a black belt in Kempo Jujitsu, and you're a bit of a douche to those who aren't yet, you will fit right in and it's probably the perfect dojo for you. If you aren't yet a black belt in Kempo Jujitsu and you aren't a douche, then I would recommend you look elsewhere for lessons
