I've been in Khayam a few times so far just because of their entertainment( live music and belly dancing). Food quality has been always bad. Strangely, they always make school boy mistakes in the bill. If you are drunk or for any other reasons you don't check your bill, you will pay some extra quids. In addition to that they charge you for service charge in the bill. The other side of the persian restaurant is their fast food shop which is separated by a door. That door is usually open and you can smell the quite old burning oil of the French fries. I do not recommend Khayam. I will not try it again. There are many other persian restaurants around, which much better quality food which don’t rob you off in the bill.

We went to Birmingham to try iranian food. Had 2 Iranian friends. Food was hot and fresh. People serve you with a smile and fast service and happy to help. Their was also music and songs which gave nice atmosphere to the place . We had a lovely meal. Parking: Just infront of the restaurant their is parking for the casino. They charge around 4 pounds for 2 hours

Parking: There's on street parking using PayByPhone and also another private pay and display parking cross the road and free parking on the street after 6pm. Wheelchair accessibility: Easy wheelchair access.

Booked a table for me and my 4 girlfriends on Monday 01.05 for the 05.05 at 10.30. Had pre drinks at my house and get a missed call followed by a text message saying “ Hi i’m called from khayam restaurant. Let you know we got DJ party tonight “ at 8.56. I called the mised call back and they said they had a dj in so would be loud, i said no problem. Then 5 mins later i get a call back cancelling the table. Terrible to cancel so short notice no apology - disgusting customer service and very disappointing
