Lovely site rural location, zero offsite background noise. Excellent facilities and fishing looks outstanding, though we came just for peace and quiet and were not disappointed. Really well managed with all essential information provided at booking. Electric by card meter ( we used less than £1 per 24hrs) and low site fees, allowing sites like this to remain cost effective through these difficult times for us all to enjoy. Our next visit is booked.

We've spent about 5 various weeks here over this summer and into autumn, and love the place. It's a smallish place adults-only park, and whenever we've been it's been nice & quiet. Brick toilet block with washing up area and laundry room, always spotless. Pocklington is fairly close (around 3 miles) for supplies (got an Aldi & Sainsbury's) though eggs, milk and tinned goods are available from reception. There's a nice canalside walk of 3.5 miles to the Melbourne Arms that does food. Other pubs nearby do food, but they're a short drive away. There's a cracking lake on site, and the fishing's normally good - don't fish light, you'll get broken off! Reception sells a selection of pellets and ground bait. We'd recommend Lakeside 👍👍👍👍👍.

Stayed for 5 days on a lakeside pitch in August. As its adult only it is so peaceful. Toilets and showers were clean and there was no queues. Another lovely holiday on a well run and well maintained site.
