  Matthew came out to my home address during lockdown and all adhered to the 2 meter distancing guidelines. (We stayed in the garden). I needed to have some very important legal documents sworn and the process was very fast, friendly and simple. Going through a divorce and a house sale at the same time during lockdown, my stress levels are constantly high, mainly because it's difficult to move any of the processes on in a timely manner. Matthew completely took the stress away for me during this process and being able to complete my forms gave me the first tinge of happiness I had experienced in over a week. I have contacted many solicitors over the past few weeks and Matthew was the first person I spoke to who made the situation uncomplicated by offering to come out to my home. Last night is the first night in weeks I have been able to relax and sleep properly. If you have something that you need help with, don't feel you need to wait until after Lockdown.   I have recently had Leech and Co create a Will and associated Power of Attorney documents for myself and wife. A close friend of mine initially recommended that I contact Matthew for his assistance, and he asked his colleague Rebecca to talk me through everything. To be honest, I had seen adverts for ‘Online Wills’, and we are now thankfully that we never went down that road. Rebecca had such a relaxed, yet professional approach to it all, double-checking that we were sure of our decisions and then drafted all documents – dotting the ‘i’s and crossing the ‘t’s so that we didn’t have to. Both myself and wife were extremely grateful for the time and service we received from Leech and Co and would highly recommend them to anyone.

  I was very happy with the company and the way my car accident claim was handled. Matthew Connery kept us in the picture throughout, and handled the claim well, and we ended up with a good result.   In 2012 I had a bad car accident, 3 cars were written off. My insurers put me in touch with Leech & Co. Initially there was a lot of paperwork, the person dealing with my case kept changing due to people leaving the firm, then I had no updates on my case or responses to my emails for over a year and actually filled in their 'new enquiry form' on google explaining I was an existing client but they hadn't replied to anything in over a year. Then Matthew Connery took over the firm maybe 4 years ago. He provided me an excellent service ever since then. I had regular case updates and I was confident he was handling all the paperwork properly. When you have a traumatic accident, followed by a longstanding legal claim, it can be very stressful, and navigating all the legal compliance and paperwork can be onerous. However Matthew handled all of these things for me and kept me informed so I knew he was dealing with everything for me. There was only a couple forms he needed me to do, but I was slow to reply for personal reasons. He continued to chase me for them and kept me advised of legal deadlines so I would not forget them. When negotiating the settlements on my behalf he advised me of all my options at each stage , factoring in my opinions and wishes, and also advised me what he thought was most realistic to achieve. It was not stressful at all and did not use up more than an evening of my time. The ultimate outcome of the case was much better than I expected. I got to keep compensation of around 30x the original value of my car even after deductions of their fees, with not much of my time or effort. While there could be firms who will take a lesser cut of your compensations, or firms with more aggressive negotiations for higher settlements, I would say the services I received from Matthew Connery is a good balance of low fees, low stress and fast and comprehensive resolutions.
