The Looosy
Rooms are as expected for a budget hotel, basic but everything you need for a nights stay. Large and comfy bed. Not particularly close to the town center, and the (google directed) walk into town took us via a dual carriageway. However, if you're driving then it's convenient to get to and it's free parking. Tea, coffee and digestive biscuits provided, but no spoons and one of the cups was stained. We were also given 1 key card, and if one of you wants to leave room the other had to sit in the dark. Staff were helpful. Room was clean and aired. Drinks selection was good and the food was as expected (almost). My Mac n Cheese was not served up as stated in the menu. I would also like to add that as I stayed on my own the room was good but the bed was actually broken on the other side. If I had been staying with my wife I would have insisted on a different room. Why hasn't the room been taken out of service?

Bed was hard and not big at all. Possibly a struggle to class as a full double. If offered room 107 refuse it as it is next to the main door and this was opening and closing til 1.40am. 4.30 the toom above decided to make as much noise as possible bouncing across the floor. The meal itself was fine but confusion came when we didn't receive our token for the carvery and then pudding arrived before we got our main course. I have travelled around Europe and this rate s in the top 5 of worst places to stay.
