  Last year we decided we needed more space in our home. We have a beautiful bungalow and did not want to move, we just needed to add another room. We contacted Lofton and their surveyor suggested several options but the front and rear Dormer for us was perfect. Their in-house design team provided drawings and steered the application through planning, and we were ready to go. Our team were Luke and Jack and were amazed how quickly it went up. The office kept us informed on costs and where our money went, and we had lots of opportunities to make alterations as we went along. We now have a fabulous master bedroom, with Juliet balcony, large en-suite with walk in shower, dressing room and spare bedroom/home office. This has been essential as I work from home and need a quite confidential space to work. The insulation that the team use is very economic and money saving, we have never had to turn the radiators on in the bedrooms because the loft is lovely and warm which is fantastic. In the summer months we can open our Juliet balcony doors to look out inti the garden and views. We have recommended Lofton ltd many times and so pleased we chose them. The team have been brilliant, polite and conscience hard working and always turn up on time and leave the job very tidy and clean. There was a couple of weeks at Christmas when the work had to cease. This was fine as I was amazed that they did not break into the ceiling until the loft was nearly completed and then the stairs were put in. I choose an open plan pine stairs and looks lovely and fits in with the décor downstairs. The outside finish with brick tiles looks traditional and keeps in with the look of the rest of the houses. Our friends, family and my neighbours always comment on how lovely the house looks now. Thank you so much Loft con Kind regards, Carol and Steve.

  It is great to find a company that guides you through the process of a substantial building project in your home. When Dennis first came to my home, I felt I could trust him! I know I should have got other quotes for comparison…….but somehow It didn’t seem necessary! Dennis’ enthusiasm and obvious expertise inspired me with talk of Minster views and a lovely staircase. He came up with a plan, and off we went! I was fortunate to have Karl and Craig as the team responsible for turning Dennis’ plan into reality. Their skill, knowledge and attention to detail gave me a lovely bedroom and en-suite. They managed the other trades coming to the house when needed and patiently explained why my dafter ideas would not work! (I did sneak one in!) The team were ably supported by the office staff Nicola and Sophie who made sure they were kept supplied with all necessary materials, delivered by the trusty James. Loftcon didn’t just convert my loft, they improved my whole house. The existing staircase was substantially improved and a spacious landing was created at first floor. I do not hesitate to recommend Loftcon.

  We have just had a loft conversion (bedroom and shower room) completed on time, on budget and to a great standard by loftcon. I was working from home for the majority of the 2 month build and the team were friendly, hard working and left the job neat and tidy at the end of every day. We have been in the loft for a month and absolutely love it. The recent storms were no match for the excellent work done by Dennis’s team.

  Dennis is not a man who is true to his word, don’t believe anything he says. Self-claimed expert (false advertising), can’t even make 2 small doors the same size, then has what can only be described as “a strop” when asked to put them right! Rude, dishonest workmen. Probably only successful because they dishonestly charge customers for materials they’ve used elsewhere. Don’t know if they’re still using Trevor (plasterer) Jordan (staircase) but were still using them in people homes despite telling us numerous times they were getting rid of them because they aren’t very good. Uneven walls and floors - actually asked us to “not put underlay down on that part” when we asked them to rectify the bump in the flooring. Luke’s “spirit level broke” was the reason the walls are not straight. Apparently Luke is “not actually a joiner” according to on email they sent us, explains everything having problems. Dennis actually came one day, looked in the loft eaves, saw all the insulation fallen out and didn’t even acknowledge it. The man will do anything not to fix any problems. His famous words “you’ll just have to live with it” or “we’ll put some filler in it”. Help themselves to things from rooms they shouldn’t be in. Dennis/trevor actually went into my daughters room and into her cupboard. Ruined my carpet. Broke their contact, not finished the job and refuse to - threaten us with court, then took that back and said they’re not honouring the warranty because we’ve not paid them. Dennis will probably respond to this as he does all his bad reviews that he wishes they hadn’t taken on this job, this is the one thing we will actually agree on. Interesting that one of the first 5 star reviews is from Dennis graham himself. Lol Absolute joke

  Rude. Didn't even get in the house before making us feel stupid for contacting them based on the roof pitch. Then proceeded to tell us we have downstairs doors and windows in the wrong places and how it would be illegal. Jobsworth attitude. The thing is we only wanted it boarding out to store stuff. Never got a chance to talk.
