We recently completed an extension project at the back of our house in Eltham. We contacted a number of builders to get a sense of what the likely cost would be and although London And Kent were not the cheapest of the quotes we received, we decided to go with them due to the professionalism of their approach, the detail contained in their itemised costing and the sense of reassurance we got from meeting their people. The work was completed on time; the quality is outstanding and the various individuals who took part in the project were all courteous, cheerful, considerate and helpful. We are delighted with the new space that's been created and have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending London And Kent to anyone considering a building project.

Scott, Jamey and the team have just completed a cellar tanking and refurb for me and I have to say I have been thoroughly impressed with the whole process. I wanted to use a local company and am glad I did. I was given an invoice of works, a payment contract and knew exactly what to expect with each stage of the works. Every trade that came to our house was professional, efficient and polite. The end result is fantastic and they have been very patient with my snagging issues and making sure I'm totally happy. Avoid. Communication not great. Repeatedly late to respond with information on how to proceed with a quote. Be warned they’ll charge you for a quote. *** UPDATE *** after they posted fallacious comment below: we did not ‘upset their Secretary’. The secretary said we were right to be disappointed that they hadn’t responded to our calls and the same lady then sent several follow up messages saying they would send us a quote. It was when they were days late with a quote they claimed we had been aggravated and didn’t want to work with us. When I asked how they expected to treat people this way and not get bad reviews, we then received an angry call from their owner. Demanding to know ‘whassthis about you giving us a bad review’. Rather than agree to disagree, they made emails and calls blaming us for a delay getting back to them and for our ‘tone’ on the phone (we were merely disappointed not to receive replies and asking whether we should persist with their company). Also it’s strange that they didn’t mention their ‘bad vibes from the start’ throughout our 10 weeks of talking to them. 10 weeks which were gradually more frustrating for us. Bear in mind they have only 10 reviews to date. Their attitude (below) in response to a dissatisfied customer should tell you all you need to know. I’ve only ever left positive reviews for companies before this.

Amazing firm, we used L&K for a substantial side and rear extension, the whole job from start to finish was run professionally and quickly, which was incredible as our works were done during Covid. Scott & Jamey were so helpful to us, answering all of our many many questions and guiding us to get the most out of the project. All the team are so friendly and workmanship is to such a high standard. So happy we went with this firm and love our new space. Highly recommended
