The session lasted in total one hour, since it was my first time there. They were extremely caring, providing a calm atmosphere so you can relax and full benefit from the treatment. They go through the questionnaire they ask you to fill in prior the session and make sure in conversation with you that they prioritize these health issues that are more prominent in each case. I was a bit nervous about trying acupuncture but with various aches and pains I thought I would give it a go. The staff have always been professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I would highly recommend acupuncture to any sceptics, it has certainly helped with some knee injuries I've sustained as well as overall energy levels. I also used to suffer from frequent headaches and I'd always be reaching for paracetamol, however, since I've been coming I've hardly had any headaches. If you are not sure whether this could be for you - pop in and see them and have a chat, they are very welcoming and can explain what they do etc...

The team at Love Community Acupuncture are amazing and the price at their University of York multi-bed clinic is unbeatable. I was nervous but Chrissie made me feel really comfortable. The treatment was really helpful at loosening my upper back tension which had been sore and tight from exams and deadlines. I slept really well after the treatment and unlike a massage I didn't feel sore the next day.
