Came here several months ago for a special occasion and felt thoroughly let down. Service was good; but I have to say the food is really rather average. For the expense our meal was, I really would have expected more. One of the dishes we had was made using gochujang sauce, which tasted like it had come out of a jar. We had a tandoori monkfish which was the pick of the bunch, but even that consisted of quite simple flavours.

Over priced for such small portions Four of us went last Saturday. Three of us ordered oysters which came with pickled rhubarb, the oysters were absolutely tiny and in the middle of the plate was the smallest amount of pickled rhubarb, like five strands for three of us. So from the off it felt very un-generous considering the prices. We had to ask for more pickle. The cheapest bottle of white wine was £40 so the bill was as pretty high as we had a couple of bottles. Two of us shared the monkfish which was delicious but was £52 for two and again not enough! We were literally chewing at the fish bones! The Hake portion was also small. A tiny bowl of new pots for £7! Even the plates we were eating off were tiny! I had wanted to try this place for a while, had heard good things about it but sadly we were all disappointed (and still hungry and a lot poorer!) and definitely wouldn’t return or recommend.

The most shockingly abysmal dining experience I’ve ever had. It took over ONE HOUR to get our drinks - Diet Coke and white wine, hardly rocket science. By that time we had already received our starters. An ADDITIONAL 45 minutes later our food still hadn’t arrived. So we are now 1h 45 min into a meal with no main. Told the front of house we would like to leave and received some fake teary eyes and speech about how this “NEVER happens here”. What a waste of an evening. Sort it out Lyon’s.
