Collected family items that had been stored for over 10 years by Lyons. Staff could not have been more helpful. They moved items and crate from the rear of the store in preparation for my visit. My husband and I were planning to load our van by ourselves but staff set to and loaded for us which was such a relief and a lovely surprise. This meant that after the long drive from Devon we were on our way again so much quicker than expected. Thank you so much.

Lyons have moved us on several occasions now. They always pack all of things for us. They work fast but take incredible care with all of our possessions. Each glass, mug and everything is very carefully wrapped and well packed into boxes. Not a thing gets broken because the packing is done so well. Boxes are all labelled, so, on unpacking they are put in the right rooms, minimising the amount of carrying we have to do. The office are efficient, always answer the phone without waiting for hours. The guys are pleasant, efficient and really aim to please. A pleasure to deal with!

Our experience with Lyons removals and storage was a very positive one. They came to our rescue at the last minute when our house move became urgent and we needed to store our possessions in two different locations and then later move again to our new house. Right from the start, when we contacted Liz in the office everyone was very responsive, professional, polite and had very pleasant manners throughout our dealing with them, to the eventual successful completion of the job. We have no hesitation in recommending Lyons Removals and we have done so to several friends who are planning to move. Special thank you to Liz for her expert and calm advice which helped to lessen the inevitable stress of moving house.

We used Lyons to pack & move the contents of our 3-bed detached (+ garage / shed / greenhouse / garden) from Bolton to Lichfield, Staffs in December. We obtained 3 quotes, including them based on their National Guild membership & reviews. John came promptly to discuss & assess the move. Given their competitive price I had a number of questions. Liz picked up every call immediately & answered knowledgably & patiently. She also made an unprompted suggestion that saved us a significant sum on insurance. We were only able to formally book them at the last minute, but Liz held the last booking slot before Xmas open on trust for us. This meant John’s 4 man-team packing / loading on Friday (an 18-tonne van, seriously big) and his 2-man team finishing packing on Monday (not aided by 2” of snow over the weekend). Then followed a 90-mile journey & unloading, finishing (for us) by 19.30. Excellent packing, sturdy boxes, carefully handled & stowed, no damage of note – all done courteously with due consideration for neighbours at both ends. We can thoroughly recommend this family firm.

I can't say enough about how pleased i am with the level of service. From initial enquiries with Liz she was great and couldn't do enough to help giving me the confidence to choose Lyons. Then the team turned up bang on time this morning, they were professional, polite and extremely helpful and diligent with the removal. If you are looking at moving and don't want any stress, use these guys, you won't regret it.
