We had the great pleasure of working with Michael. We were looking for a Party Wall Surveyor and found Michael online. We explained him our case as we had started the process already on our own, which wasn't a good idea at all. We were facing a really difficult Surveyor representing our next door neighbors. Michael took on the case with great confidence. His approach, due diligence and knowledge has been outstanding. He showed patience, didn't get worried throughout the process and had great instincts. His updates of the process were throughout in a timely manner and he kept us always in the loop. It got to the stage that we had to involve a 3rd Surveyor, as the other party tried to delay the whole process as long as possible. Michael advised of the unlikely outcome, and the additional potential costs. We trusted his lead and the agreement was ruled in our favor at the end, which meant the neighbors had to cover the costs for the 3rd surveyor. Furthermore, Michael's charges were more than reasonable. Michael called kept reassuring us to go ahead with the project with full steam and we shouldn't worry at all. We have been more than grateful that we discovered Michael. If we could give him 10 out of 10 stars we would do it. If you look for someone you want to trust, who is honest, professional, knowledgeable and leads your agreement with confidence and achieves the best possible result, don't look any further. Michael provided us with a great service at a very reasonable price. We went for the Level 3 survey, which other companies quoted us in the region of £800-1500. Though Michael charged significantly less than that, the service was just as professional, the report was extremely detailed, with no delays or issues at all, and he was available for follow-up questions. Our survey didn't produce anything that required extra attention, thankfully, but two friends of ours to whom we recommended Michael received a report that unearthed something significant (potential cladding issues), and Michael has gone above and beyond to help them to get more information, even going as far as contacting the freeholder to obtain a report on fire safety. Highly recommended.
