UPDATE!!! The response from Macfarlanes asking me to make contact is simply for appearances. I responded immediately and have heard nothing since. I will post this directly to Jo Douty’s email address. Jo Douty is Macfalanes compliance officer. She was given evidence a year ago of a £10 million scam her firm was involved in. She responded once to confirm her title and then has disgustingly done nothing. The case was Lord v Sinai Securities Ltd. Peter Michel (jailed for £27 million money laundering), Charles McHugh, charged with £10 million insurance fraud, Stanley Beller and others, masterminded the fraudulent takeover of a World Heritage Site in Hayle, Cornwall where long-term residents are currently being evicted. Mark Taylor, Chelsea Football Club (and Leeds United Football Club) who dealt with the Abramovich takeover witnessed the fraudulent charge but said he had nothing to do with Hayle Harbour. He is a liar. We have all the evidence of his involvement. Macfarlanes dealt with the paperwork for the deal - for example a £7 million charge was registered on Companies House. The day before (!) this important event, the company in question changed its name - therefore no charge was registered against its name. A few months later it quietly changed its name back again. Ms Douty is grossly negligent and her failure to investigate continues to assist criminals.

They were recommended to me by my own lawyer and i did not hesitate to use the based on their recommendation. HOWEVER, their services were very spotty and I lost confidence in them early on. I stuck with them despite my instincts and they have proven to be even worse. In the end they still insist i owe them for services they did not render. Do not use this firm.

This firm handled my case very poorly. My briother and I had a complex issue regarding the handling of our parents estate overseas. I found the firm's work to be poor quality, very slow in responding and the individual assigned - Naomi Charrington was not very good. She was ill informed and very flaky - often not responding. Would not recommend.
