The “store manager” needs to learn some manners. Seems like there are other reviews about her, because she does have an accent and dark hair. She locked us in the shop while her friendlier colleague had gone to the basement for the shoes I asked for, because there was one other customer she had to attend to and obviously didn’t want any others to come in. We thought this was weird behavior in the first place. For emergencies, she should have at least left the key in the lock for us to exit. When my maid of honor arrived, of course she couldn’t enter. We were understanding at first, but after a few minutes kindly asked her to let my friend in. She refused to open the door for her, because she was talking to the other lady. After five minutes, I politely told her that what she was doing was very rude and instead of apologizing, she opened a big argument. That not being enough, she kept going on and on after her colleague had come back, telling him how we were being rude and not understanding, instead of deescalating. I asked her several times to stop discussing this, since I am the customer, who came to buy a very expensive shoe And she obviously made a mistake. If this is supposed to be a luxury shopping experience, they should definitely appoint a new store manager. This behavior was beyond unacceptable and ruined half of the day. We were all in a great mood from previous bridal shopping…

I show some Manolo’s is Manchester Selfridges but they did not have the colour I needed for my wedding! I contacted the Boutique in Burlington Arcade in Mayfair and the lovely chap Richard put them on hold until I attended to try them on. Richard went above and Beyond to make my experience special, he even wrapped them for me, finally got my Dream Wedding Shoes, thank you Richard!
