Lovely coffee and pastries but unreliable with opening times? Three times in the past 3 weeks I’ve been to the premises middle of the day and been disappointed to find that although staffed the doors were closed and the ‘Closed’ sign was up. I’m not going to go out of my way to get a coffee there again when Pret seem more reliable.

Was lured in by the stylish exterior. Barista was very friendly but sadly the coffee had no flavour at all, tasted more like a cup of warm milk - tastes almost like they brewed with the same grounds twice. And not cheap either!!

The pictures on Google Reviews showed cupcakes and the name of the shop is "Marley's Cupcakes" but there were none! So I ordered the croissant instead, expecting a flaky croissant, but got a doughy croissant (?) instead.. I am not sure if this is even the same shop, it is very weird but it is located exactly where it is and the picture of the shop is exactly the same..

Pastries that look so good. They demand protection. When I enter a jewellers I expect to have “mince pies” (security cameras/guards) locked on me when I look at the precious items it sells. When I enter a shop selling pastries I don’t expect the mince pies to be guarded by a staff member. The guilty pleasure do look splendid. How fresh they are, is for other reviewers to reveal. What I do know is they have a splendid coffee setup. Speciality Volcano Coffee, Vittoria Adduro grinder, La Marzocco espresso machine. They even have the best tasting oat milk, Oatly Barista edition. It makes for a lovely start to the morning. Marley’s Cupcakes is conveniently located in Tower Hill station.
