Terrible service. I purchased an A Class a year ago and within a month or 2 I had warning signs coming up that there was an engine failure. Whilst I understand things can go wrong with cars, it was the manner in which it was dealt with which was awful. I had to be the intermediate between my local Mercedes garage & Southampton with Southampton not taking any responsibility despite me having a Mercedes Warranty. Despite them telling me not to drive it under any circumstances, I was left without a courtesy car for around a month. No compensation for the month that I didn't have a courtesy car or the 2/3 months that my car was in the garage for was offered which I thought was quite poor. To make matters worse the engine sign came up again after about a week and had to go back in. I had to pay for new spark plugs the first time round & since it sounds like that had nothing to do with the problem. Thankfully it was finally fixed and since I haven't had issues but to just add to the bad service, since I purchased my car which is coming up a year ago I've been trying to get them to send me a car manual as it never came with one and despite contacting them 5 times now I'm still yet to receive it. Every time they say the Sales team will be in contact but never do. Would not recommend purchasing from Southampton at all. Very poor customer service.

Absolutely terrible customer service from a premium brand. Spoke to a salesman named Barry who was rude and abrupt and his sales pitch felt more like an interrogation. I've never owned a Mercedes before and wasn't dead set on a particular model but I initially expressed an interest in a CLA AMG but wasn't dead set on that model. To be honest, a good salesman would give you guidance and make you feel comfortable and offer suggestions but Barry just kept saying " Well tell me what you want!?" to the point that he made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. I told him he was a terrible salesman and walked out but he still continued to argue instead of showing any professionalism. Who knows how much we could have ended up spending in this place if we'd been treated in a welcoming and professional way. To be honest, Barry should be hauled in the office for causing a customer to become upset and walk out of the dealership but other staff just stood by and one even seemed to think it was amusing. All in all, not a pleasant experience.

Very pleased about the personal assistance from Simon Newton who guided me through a purchase and part exchange to buy a B Class Mercedes. Complicated procedure as the deal also involved a transfer of a personal number plate. I am especially pleased to return to Mercedes Southampton from whom I previously bought two Mercedes cars . Although I live in Poole, Dorset, travelling 35 miles each way to Marshalls was certainly worth the effort. Pity this company is not nearer to me.

Mercedes 2005 cls500 My car was booked in for Recall sunroof bonding at marshalls Southampton.Hayley took care of me and the customer service was outstanding not only did they fix recall I got free carwash and hoover they didn't even charge me for car hire cla200 for the day that would of been £33.00 they went above and beyond this is how a dealership should operate if I could I would give them 10 Stars super happy customer......
