No communication; no option to set up a payment plan and uncooperative and pushy enforcement agents - what makes everything worse is Marstons isn’t even FCA Regulated so we’re not able to report their conduct to the FCA or Financial Ombudsmen. My car (which is currently on finance) was clamped, and I was threatened with the clamp staying on if I didn’t pay my £559 debt (initially £65 for a parking ticket) I explained that I only had AMEX at the moment and that payday was 3 days away so I don’t mind paying and appealing after (since I knew nothing about this debt / presuming communication was sent to the wrong address as others are stating a similar thing). I was told that they don’t take AMEX and that they didn’t care if the car was financed - we went round in circles for an hour or two and I even mentioned that I care for 2 disabled adults who rely on transportation from the vehicle which was clamped and they told me there was no blue badge displayed (on a driveway) so they couldn’t do anything - I reiterated that the car is financed and they aren’t able to sell it to recover any debt regardless and they decided to ignore the fact that they are hindering so many essential factors as to why the car cannot be clamped however they ignored this. Throughout my whole 8 hour experience with Marstons, I spoke to solicitors, citizens advice and the police (101) and each and every bit of advice I was given was in my interest - the car was NOT able to be clamped and SHOULDN’T of been clamped since it’s not my property (finances car) however was told not to remove the clamp because it may lead to criminal damage - regardless I should speak to the agent about removing the clamp for these reasons and if he doesn’t remove it there was nothing the police could do since it’s a civil matter - so annoying since there was no definite solution to this, just a loophole of either keeping the clamp on or facing charges for criminal charges for taking a clamp off finances property - the car was not legally a controlled good since the car was financed. Marstons doesn’t even offer payment plans and refused to offer a payment plan each of the 8-10 times I requested a payment plan until I appeal the debt. STAY away from these evil bashtards and baldies.

Absolute disgrace of a company, they claim to help the vulnerable but obviously the ceo doesn't know the real truth about how they treat people with mental health.

Taking people’s property and demanding payment is extortion. The car tax is a scam and protection racket.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with a debt collection agency and it was a complete nightmare. The agency was incredibly unprofessional and made me feel like a criminal for having debt. Firstly, their communication methods were terrible. They called me at all hours of the day and night, and when I answered, they were often rude and aggressive. I felt like I was being interrogated instead of being treated like a human being who was going through a tough time. Furthermore, when I tried to explain my financial situation to them, they were completely dismissive and unsympathetic. Instead of trying to find a solution that would work for both parties, they simply demanded that I pay my debt in full immediately. To make matters worse, when I tried to reach out to the agency to get more information about my debt and how to resolve it, I was met with silence. My emails and voicemails went unanswered, leaving me feeling even more frustrated and stressed. Overall, I would not recommend this debt collection agency to anyone. Their lack of professionalism, aggressive tactics, and poor communication skills made an already difficult situation even worse. Vermins , trying to fool honest people Hopefully the money are stealing are going to be used for medications for their families Tried to fool me cause I'm not from here lol Parasites

Shocking - keep sending letters and bailiffs to address I have informed them I don't live at so that they can keep putting charges on me... Can't wait to actually meet the bailiff so I can send him home with black eyes...

Oh and I may decide to clamp a few after I've followed them when you decide to bully vulnerable people and you'll be paying ME for the removal! Also have a buddy that works in dvla that can look up registration plates ☺️

Holding my 30 pounds deposit money after my case was dismissed from the Barnet council. Thieves in the UK who think they can do anything to people. I will be taking them to the court if they don't pay me back of course. Case Z846677 , the PCN which was never issued to me by Barnet Council went all the way up to these animals. I had to pay them a bit so they stay away from me and stop harassing me even though they had no rights of course.

This company seem to be run out of a mums spare room. No response to DPA requests, not ICO registered. Their T&Cs say they prefer email communication but you may as well take a walk down the road you’ll get further. Not even amateurs, they don’t speak.Ready to take card payments via their app though! Reported to Action Fraud and Trading Standards.
