Took my sister here to celebrate her engagement ahead of seeing a show round the corner. I told the guy on the door that this was what the occasion was and he greeted her with complimentary prosecco so we were off to a good start! I liked that and appreciated it. During our meal, 2 items were separately brought to the table that we hadn't ordered - these ended up on my bill in error which I noticed after I'd paid it, they refunded it immediately. Service was slow, we waited a long time to be served but the waiter was happy and jolly so that helped. When we ordered, he asked if we wanted bread with it which we said yes to. I hadn't realised this was going to incur a £5.50 charge or I wouldn't have said yes to be honest, this was presented in a way that made me assume it was complimentary. I got that wrong clearly which is fine as it was my assumption but just something to be aware of! Food was good but not outstanding. I'm not in a hurry to go back but I wouldn't not go. 3 starters, 2 mains and 1 dessert plus service charge came in at £100 - there were no drinks on this! To me, that's a lot for what we had but for the experience and occasion I found value in it. Plus I did have a £30 steak but still, it feels overpriced for what it was overall
