We really enjoyed working with the Menier Lounge on a recent shoot for STOIX. We wanted a venue full of character, space and light and with interesting textures and backdrops. The Menier Lounge has this in abundance. If you need a pin drop quiet venue for filming this is not it but there are not many of these in central London! The team were great to deal with. I was a little reluctant because of a negative review on here but we had a five star experience with the management team. We are hoping to add some photos to our review shortly but I would highly recommend the venue.

An EXCELLENT space. Second time working with the Menier team - and as always they were exceptional at supporting us to deliver such an amazing event. Our guests loved the space (especially the garden!) and it was a great venue to host drinks. Would highly recommend for that secret loft space vibe (and the great team at Menier too!)

Do not use this space if you want helpful customer service. The space itself is OK, but dealing with the staff caused us problems. It is also overpriced for what it is, better value can be found elsewhere. The Internet is also terrible so do not expect to be able to do any work or upload large documents in this space. Specifically regarding the customer service, the issues were as follows. When booking we asked for flexibility to move the date if circumstances beyond our control affected the day, as we had people flying in for the shoot and COVID-19 could have disrupted our plans. We were told sure no problem it can be discussed if something happens. On the day of the shoot a tube strike was scheduled to take place, so we contacted them a week before but we were told no you cannot move the booking. This was very unhelpful and caused us inconvenience and additional expense, which could have been easily avoided with some helpfulness from the venue managers. We also queried the £50 cleaning fee before booking. We were told no this cannot be removed as it covers cleaning the venue. We were then later fined £75 for not washing up our cups, which we were never asked to do. This seems excessive, petty and unnecessary when we have paid £2,400+ for the space. Finally, take care when using the space because the venue managers seem to want to catch you out with tidyness or small issues (eg rearrangement of furniture) and fine you for this. We thought we had covered everything but unfortunately we were caught out.
