I've never had my own personal chef and butler serving me breakfast, and what a breakfast it was. Comes with a spectacular view over the commons (river & fields) with Swans, geese, and cows. Host were very attentive and even packed me lunch when I left to fly home to Canada. Rooms were quiet and very comfortable. This is in the heart of Sudbury, so walked everywhere I needed to go.

We spent 2 very comfortable nights here and were made to feel very welcome. There was a stunning view of the river and water meadows from the balcony. Breakfast was described as continental yet we had something cooked both days. Convenient parking across the road and in walking distance of restaurants.

What a lovely situation. Mark warmly welcomed us after helping us on the phone with directions, etc. We took our two springadores with us for the long drive from Dorset and the team could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Slept well in the very comfy standard sized double bed with outstanding views over the river and fields - where we walked the dogs. Breakfast was a filling meal with everything you could have needed, eating at a table overlooking the river/fields with candles alight in the silver candelabra. Such a treat - we will return!! Thank you Maria.

A visit with old friends brought me to this lovely B&B just outside Sudbury town centre. I usually prefer the full English breakfast, however I was pleasantly surprised by the variety on offer at the continental breakfast. Rooms offer wonderful views out over the River Stour and we saw plenty of the local wildlife from the balcony with our morning coffee. One thing of note: the property does have some steep stairs up to the rooms so may not be suited for those with additional mobility requirements.
