Almost deserted on a Saturday lunchtime. Celeriac steak means a piece of celeriac cut like a steak, no meat! Service was extremely slow even though we were almost the only customer and there seemed to be several staff. Had to go find my own spoon for my luke warm soup. Dry bread accompanied the soup with no butter on offer. Also had to take the empty water bottles up to the desk to get them filled. Ribeye steak was delivered subsized (they charged proportionately less but didn't say a word). Serving staff didn't seem to know anything about the menu. Salad was overdressed with vinegar and consisted mostly of fennel. On the bright side, the pigs ears were enjoyed by those who sought them. The space was peaceful and clean with a good view of the donkeys on the street through the window.

We had two really delicious meals here and the service was impeccable! However £20 for a single burger is a little steep, especially as you don’t get many chips with it. A beautiful venue nonetheless and a bonus that they’re so dog friendly too!
