Lovely Indian restaurant right on Ashby Road. We came here as a large group (12) and were very impressed with the speed of the service considering so much was ordered all at once. Being a large group we tasted a good cross section of the menu and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their curries. I personally went for the chicken bhuna and it was lovely tangy tomato with a warming chilli heat throughout. The value for money was incredible and they offer 10% student discount which we were very grateful for, especially given the current economy. The only minor complaint was that the naan bread was rather thin and crispy rather than the more soft, bread-like texture one would expect. Overall the food was highly flavourful and we would certainly return.

The food was very nice. I can’t fault the quality of the food but what I can fault is the price. £9 for poppadoms and pickle tray. £4.50 for chips. And what annoyed me the most is after a £60+ order and living one mile away up the road I still had to pay a £1.50 delivery charge! It will be the last time I order from here as it is considerably more expensive than equally as good Indian restaurants. It just isn’t worth it disappointing to say the least.
