  Saw Mr cheung for a lump on my eyelid which I'd had for many years he explained what he could do and the risk involved. So I knew what would be happening every step. Op day was a very relaxed and felt at ease. Was over and done quickly. The result wore amazing only slight bruising and swelling. Recovery was quick. I'm very impressed as you can't even seen where it was. People have also commented on how good it looks.

  My father has seen Dr Cheung a couple of times over the last 12 months. Our appointments were scheduled in the time frame he gave us, and we didn't have to wait too long to see him on each occasion. Dr Cheung is very friendly and welcoming and put my father at ease. We have been pleased with the care we received from him. We would recommend him.

  I went to David for revision blepharoplasty and I'm very happy with the results. The initial consultation was very informative and any questions/concerns raised were answered in detail. The operation itself went very smoothly and I was home the same day. I just wish I had gone to David from the start for my very first blepharoplasty, he truly cares for all his patients and surgery results!

  I saw Dr Cheung at the end of last year to have a consultation regarding ptosis of my right eye which had concerned me for almost a year, during my consultation Dr Cheung was extremely pleasant and make me feel at ease. The consultation was lengthy which I was happy about because I felt it was a lot of information to take it, Dr Cheung was very through during my appointment and explained everything in great detail, he took plenty of notes and photographs of my eye so he could explain what he will do if I wished to proceed. Furthermore he always let me know the risks of the procedure but also showed me photos of other previous people who have had the procedure which was quite reassuring. On the day of surgery everything went accordingly in a timely manner, the nurses were friendly and helpful, Dr Cheung came in to do his pre op assessment and as I was in surgery the whole team made me feel comfortable and reassured me as I was a little nervous. I was able to go home straight after and my recovery as been fantastic. I’m very happy with my results and I don’t regret my decision at all, so thank you to Dr Cheung and the whole team, it was a pleasure.

  I had been suffering with a watery eye for several years due to a tear duct blockage. Ultimately on his advice I did not pursue any invasive treatment due to the riskbenefit, which he outlined to me along with his honest opinion - which stands as a testament to his integrity.   I lived with large, noticeable Xanthelasma deposits under both eyes for over a decade. In recent years their growth was such that I was no longer able to disguise them using concealer makeup. Having decided that surgery was the only option, I was somewhat nervous about choosing a surgeon to perform the work. David was recommended to me and I consulted with him at the Westbourne Centre. I was very happy with the consultation. David carefully explained the nature of the issue and what surgical options were available. All were clearly and thoroughly described. During the consultation I was particularly impressed with David's honesty about what would and wouldn't be effective, as well as the extent of work that would be safest. He actively discouraged me from unnecessary or risky additional surgery. There was no upsell. At all times I felt that he had my best interests as a patient at the forefront of his mind. Having agreed on the best surgical approach, David shared photos of other patients upon whom he'd operated, pointing out both positive and less positive results and explaining how these had been achieved. I was deeply impressed and reassured by his willingness to be so open about his work. Following the consultation, David sent a very detailed email outlining in full the process of the surgery and the associated risks. I felt absolutely no pressure to proceed, but thanks to the confidence I had gained from the consultation, I decided to book the surgery. The surgery itself exceeded my expectations. The service at the Westbourne Centre was outstanding. All staff went to great lengths to ensure my comfort and I felt very relaxed. The operation was a surprisingly pleasant experience, so far as surgical procedures go! I felt little to no pain and only mild discomfort. Conversation was relaxed and free-flowing and David was all too happy to explain what he was doing and how he was doing it when asked. We even had opportunity for a few funnies along the way! Following the surgery, David contacted me to check in and sent detailed instructions on how to care for the wounds. I felt confident that should there be an issue, David would be on hand to advise accordingly. I was very pleasantly surprised by the speed with which the wounds healed and the low level of discomfort following the surgery. Friends and family have commented on the quality of David's work and two weeks out from surgery I am very happy with the improvement in my appearance. I found David to be highly professional and a thoroughly nice chap! He clearly loves his work and unlike some consultants, despite his obvious brilliance he is in no way arrogant or condescending in his manner. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone seeking oculoplastic surgery and should I ever need surgery in the eye area again, he will be my first port of call.

  I recently had a cyst removed on my eye lid that was carried out by Mr David Cheung. I cannot say how thankful I am for procedure and how helpful he was along the way. Now it has healed, it looks as though it was never there. The scar cannot be seen at all and I’m incredibly happy with the result.

  After many years of considering surgery to remove excess upper eyelid skin, I finally decided to go ahead when (after a lot of research) I had an initial consultation with David Cheung. The fact that he specialises in eye surgery was very important to me and his manner, professionalism and detailed consultation was so reassuring. The aftercare service was fantastic and although I am only 2 weeks post surgery I am so pleased with the results. Highly recommend.

  Bags! Me! Not anymore, thanks to David and his team. This is a little long, so please bear with me... I want to give you a bit of my experience. David is amazing and was very thorough in his consultation, putting me at ease instantly. He asked me what i wasn't happy about with my eyes and what I wanted to achieve. He did an examination of the eyes themselves, questionnaire, before talking through my options, risks, and outcome. I chose to have lower eye blepharoplasty with sedation to give me the results I wanted. The surgery itself was really good and a pleasant experience. The nurse at the start, the anaesthetist, asked me lots of questions beforehand so he could give me the correct amount of drugs. All the team in theatre were brilliant. After the operation, I felt fine, had a cup of tea and some biscuits, and then went home with an aftercare bag about 20 minutes later. Later on, I had a courtesy call from the nurse and an email from David himself. I had bruising for about 5 days, and today, a week after the surgery, I have been back for my stitches out, and I can't tell you how happy I am with the results. This amazing man and his team have given me back so much confidence, and I don't look tired anymore. One last bit before you get totally bored with reading this..... if you are truly thinking about having your eyes done, this is your man!
