Charlotte is a wonderful person who has been a great source of support and kindness since we had our puppy five years ago which changed our lives! I have really enjoyed learning how to work best with my dog by understanding how he thinks and learns for himself. Charlotte explains things carefully and is always there whenever I’ve needed help or a listening ear. I find the videos she creates incredibly helpful and by working with Charlotte I now also have access to an amazing bank of resources so that I can go back and revisit key ideas when I need to. I would highly recommend working with Charlotte - she is the best!

Charlotte’s approach is refreshingly different to other methods of ’training’. It’s important to me that my pup has the space and room to enjoy her early years whilst at the same time helping her to manage her emotions and therefore behaviours. I’ve loved working with her so far and she’s been very patient with us all. There’s an app to help us stay focussed and regular checkins along the way. Lola loves her and is noticeably calmer as a result. Thank you Charlotte.

I was recommended to get in touch with Charlotte at My Happy Dog after problems with my young dog. I am so glad that I did. It was the best decision I have made for my dog and me! Her advice, support and encouragement has given me the confidence to play, train and begin to understand things from my dog's point of view. Charlotte offers force-free, behaviourally-based training. Training is fun for dogs and owners and gives both a sense of achievement. It's pretty addictive, so you could be coming for a while... No regrets on that at all. My personal favourite is the live-training "social walk" with a group of dogs and owners, often ending at a dog friendly venue for a coffee... Charlotte offers puppy training, ongoing training for older dogs, and one-to-one assessments available for problems. A range of activities are available for the older dogs. I started with Charlotte, when my Cavapoo was an older puppy, after becoming disillusioned with other training. Charlotte came to the house to fit him with a harness. In the process she taught him a trick, whilst holding a conversation and getting the fitting done correctly. Amazed, I went to one class. Just one, because it was a bit more expensive... He learned more in one hour than he had in the last few weeks and so did I. Over a year later we are still there, doing and learning new stuff and still having fun... Highly recommended!

A truly amazing training experience. So supportive and positive and always ready to guide you through the next step in your dog training journey. Small, fun classes run in a very friendly way. My dog is addicted and so am I. Only wish we had started out with My Happy Dog from the beginning. A variety of classes , 1:2:1’s, workshops , social works and more. Charlotte is highly qualified and always up to date with the latest science in the Canine world. This shows through in all her teaching and advice. Well worth the money.

Took my highly strung rescue Cockerpoo with more than a few issues to his first training class. Can't fault the help and guidance offered by Charlotte. I left convinced I've at last got someone who can help me get my pup in better shape.

There is no doubt that Charlotte is the go to trainer in the Solihull area and further afield(Birmingham ‘Warwickshire).I have learnt a lot about myself as a handler and how positive behaviours are rewarded and all force free. I am lucky enough to have had this experience and my dog ( a lump of a Labrador) has enjoyed every session. Be warned like all trades she is busy because she is epic. 10/10
