Popped in for lunch on Monday on the way to Robin Hood’s Bay. Food, staff and the place itself were all excellent. We were originally directed to next door, but it was closed. How pleased were we!

Edit: Contrary to the owners response below I did not want my food "incinerated". On both occasions asked for it to be well done and it wasn't even close to being what I ordered. Calling my review "stupid" seems inherently unprofessional when this is exactly what reviews are for, to make other potential customers aware that when ordering food, their requests are not adhered to. OG review: Second time in as many weeks I've ordered a takeaway bacon sandwich, asked it to be very well done and received one that looks like someone's cooked it with a warm sponge. Server took my order no problem as I saw them put it in the computer, so not sure why the cooks don't seem to understand what well done means.
