Spent a family weekend at New House Farm, hiring the entire venue. What a place ! Clean, ready, perfect space for a large group. Welcoming hosts/managers - so helpful and friendly. Log fires and comfortable cosy seating areas. Can only imagine just how wonderful it would be in the warm summer. Thank you.

We stayed in the beautiful east side garden lodge which boasts a huge open planned kitchen/dining/living room space and a lovely little wood burning fireplace that we took full advantage of. The land the lodges are situated on is beautiful, we enjoyed morning walks and got to feed the alpacas and sheep who seemed very friendly. In the afternoon we made full use of the hot tub and had a few drinks, before heading to the main barn (which I’ll say is fit to host a kings banquet) to cook and eat dinner with friends. As there is no light pollution, we were astonished at how clear the night sky was - we were able to see a couple of shooting stars! The bedroom itself was very cosy and comfortable, we both had an incredible nights sleep. We will be returning to book a couple of lodges with friends over Christmas, without a doubt. Highly recommended!

New House Farm has been the perfect location to unwind and be immersed into the beautiful countryside. The lodges were spectacularly clean and well kept with a beautiful landscape to look out onto. It was close by to the train station and picturesque villages. We stayed for five nights, two of which we had rain throughout the day which made it all the more cosy and autumnal. We lit up the fireplace, made a coffee in the Stable Lodges and kicked up our feet to enjoy the sound of the rain and nature that surrounded us. The sheep and alpacas were a lovely addition to our mornings as they came right up to the gate to say hello.

fantastic getaway place from the city. recently stayed here with friends for a weekend and it was just wonderful. the facilities are amazing. the lodges we stayed in were very comforting and the view from the window was just amazing surrounded by fields. the train station is just 10 mins drive away so very easy to get to as well as the local shops. would love to stay here again.

Sent the weekend at NHF and had the most amazing, relaxing time! The hot tub has the most amazing views over the rolling green hills. The rooms and living spaces were perfect and everything was amazingly clean. We had a few of the lodges and had access to the long barn where you can play pool. The location is stunning, close to Etchingham train station, some nearby villages with pubs, shops and farm shops. Plenty of lovely walks to do around the area. Really recommend staying here for anyone just needing to switch off, unwind and rejuvenate!

We’re just finishing up our couples retreat to New House Farm, staying in the beautiful stable lodges, we had use of the long barn with a few friends who stayed in the garden lodges, and all had a brilliant time. With stunning views, fantastic accommodation and friendly, professional staff, we couldn’t recommend New House Farm more.

A total rip off and an unpleasant owner, Jon, using social media to intimidate his customers from his multiple accounts. Overpriced accommodation which might achieve 2 or 3 star grade rating at best, if it were clean and not in disrepair. Lovely local village (need a car) and pleasant views on a nice day but the standard of accommodation, furniture and cleanliness was terrible. Items were broken, unsafe and hadn't been cleaned or checked for a long time. Terrible customer service and appalling communication when addressing our concerns. Neighbours confirmed the less than desirable reputation of the owner and his accommodation locally. It seems many of the good reviews online are fake or from friends (Just read them - you don't need to be Sherlock Holmes!). We found better places on the same country lane, let alone in the same county. The proprietor would sooner refuse to take responsibility of all the problems, rather than address them - perhaps better suited to a job that isn't customer facing.

If you hire a place, or even stay at a hotel.. are you expected to go in doors at 10pm? Unless you are going for Brownie camp i would not recommend. The photos are taken at really good angles need i say no more. Do not expect any more then a bath in the hot tub. It has no pressure what so ever. Decent size however it was a standard bath. We paid a good amount for our holiday and they look for every way to charge you extra. We kept the place super clean, we respected the land. Expect loud noises from next doors massive smelly renovations. This is not a black mail a review. It is honest. I didn't book the holiday nor anything to do with the money. I am allowed to voice my opinion.
