Had cataract surgery on my right eye on Sunday 15th January 2023 (left eye in November last). I was somewhat apprehensive before the first surgery not quite knowing what to expect, but I needn't have worried. I could not fault the whole procedure. The care and attention to detail by Newmedica staff is second to none, everything explained in detail with checks, checks and more checks at every stage. A huge thank you to the whole staff.

I was somewhat apprehensive to begin with but was soon put at ease by a friendly caring staff who explained every thing clearly at each stage of the procedure. Newmedica in Teesside are amazing. I've had cataract removal surgery for both eyes (eye #2 yesterday evening) and couldn't have wished for better care. From the reception to post-op, everything is just smoothly run, professional, and friendly. The staff are amazing, helpful, and efficient. They make complicated eye surgery look (and feel) like a breeze. When it comes to something as important as your vision you can only wish for the very best of care and I can vouch that everyone at Newmedica goes above and beyond that to provide the highest quality eyecare standards you can get. The staff are so rude. You are locked in or locked out. Staff go missing so aways left waiting. The little Hitler/ buncer on the door. Unable to attend with my mother who is deaf. Wanted me to attend with her. Just rude.
