I went to deliver a parcel today and cheekily asked a question regarding a back problem I have that’s been ongoing for over a year now. Dave looked at my MRI report I have stored on my phone. Gave me a fully detailed explanation and gave me 2 names for consultants I need to ask to be referred to. I came out of there feeling like I have finally been told what should be done. Thank you so much

Very disappointed in the service . I booked an appointment to a see a physio at oak field sports clinic and I requested for a female because there were some sensitive areas involved . My appointment with Nicola was a waste of time and money. She barely gave me treatment . After 7-8 mins of touching my back she said she was done. Never again will I go there. Will not recommend . Poor service

I had intensive physio with Dave Sach following my Achilles’ tendon reconstruction. He got me back on my feet and I am eternally grateful. Thank you Dave. A great clinic with a very friendly team. No hesitation in recommending

If it wasn't for Dave Sach, I have no doubt that I would have lost all feeling and the use of my left leg. Possibly permanent paralysis of both legs and incontenance. I developed a rare condition called Cauda Equina, it's where a herniated disc traps the nerves that control your legs, bladder and bowel. The condition is a medical emergency and you should be operated on within 48hours to avoid permanent and life changing outcomes. My first visit to Basildon A&E was Saturday 8th June and the second was on Wednesday 12th June. Both times by ambulance (despatched after phoning 111). Both times I advised my symptoms; excruciating lower back and hip pain, numbness / tingling in the private area, difficulty going to the toilet, numbness and tingling in my left leg and foot and a cramp sensation in my left calf. Each time I was told it was muscular and sent home with a prescription for pain killers and muscle relaxants. The second time was far worse than the first and I had to have gas and air to manage to leave the house. By this point the numbness and tingling was more intense and I had lost a lot of the feeling in my left foot. I went to see Dave Sach at Oakfields on Thursday 13th June Dave recognised my symptoms immediately and explained the urgency of getting an MRI scan. He explained that he could refer me privately which would be much quicker. He referred me to Vista Diagnostics opposite Waterloo Station. The MRI was £225 and was worth every penny. I didn't even know this was an option until Dave advised me so. The MRI scan confirmed I did indeed have Cauda Equina. Armed with my MRI report and MRI images (on a disc), I returned to Basildon A&E who now has no choice but to admit me into their care. Without Dave's advise and support, I would not have received the help I needed from the NHS. Dave also knew that the longer I was left, the more severe my condition would become. He acted immediately which definetly prevented further damage as my foot was loosing more feeling by the day. Dave was even at hand answering my text message questions whilst I was in my hospital bed waiting for Basildon Hospital to take action. Thankfully I was transferred to Queen's hospital for surgery, the care I received their was first class. My surgeon saved me from permanent paralysis and incontenance. He explained that all of the tingling and numbness is caused by nerve damage and will most likely be permanent. It's a much better outcome than what would have been had I have not have had the support, knowledge and help of Dave Sach. Dave also helped with the diagnosis of my husbands herniated disc last year (which resulted in surgery too). He also treated my teenage daughter who had problems with her ankle too. For two years we had problems with her ankle giving way, causing her to stumble and fall. For two years our GP was insistent she had a weak ankle and it just needed strengthening by using a balance board. One day she stepped out of my car and fell to the ground because of her ankle. I took her to Dave and he was able to diagnose and treat her in one session! He gave her exercises to do at home too and we have had no problems since. This was 2-3 years ago now. I really cannot thank or recommend this man enough!

Brilliant! My wife had her 1st appointment today with Nichola at this Physiotheray clinic, worlds apart from what she had to endure on the NHS in the past! She was treated professionally & politely She actually had manipulation(?) and advice on "icing treatment" & 2 home exercises. The sheet normally given to patients had run out due to a printer problem *but* would ensure 1 was sent out later this afternoon. All I can say is "Thank You!" for caring and being so professional!
