A welcome new addition to cranbrook, I visit cranbrook regularly as I have family nearby, I was pleasantly surprised to find Oishii on the highstreet. Oishii is well presented as well as being very clean and professional. With both servings of sushi and hot Asian quisine i couldnt resist. I popped in at lunchtime for a chicken katsu curry which was reasonably priced and extremely delicious, it was hot and fresh served with freshly sliced chilli and spring onion. Absolutely amazing soul food ❤️. I would encourage both locals and visitors to try it out and support this small local business. A friendly face and delicious food 🤩

Very delicious food that is reasonably priced. I had their katsu curry bowl today and it was warm and delicious. Perfect for this cold and rainy weather. Would highly recommend. Update: I had the ramen today. I must say that I didn't find it flavoursome. The prawn was under seasoned and the ramen broth was bland and thin. It definitely needs to be a bit richer. I can't recommend the ramen but the katsu and sushi are great. I will continue to order those, just not the ramen.

Very nice sushi and lovely staff. Thank you. We will definitely be back. For me, I found the maki smaller than I am accustomed to, but I didn't think it a problem. I will just remember to order more next time... I just mention it in case it is helpful to others when deliberating portions/quantity. The seaweed maki were fantastic- really enjoyed those.

Excellent place. I went to get some chicken katsu but they had ran out. Which I expected as it was about half an hour before the closed. I got the chicken ramen as the chicken katsu had ran out. It was amazing. Would definitely recommend it if you were going to try it. I also got the prawn gyozas. Which were really good. It was all cheap as well. Would definitely recommend. Parking: There’s not much parking outside. You will have to look up the town for parking or the church car park.
