The best. We are tiny carbon neg guesthouse with over 10 years of original Okafen kit working superbly. Recent external pellet delivery problems were solved with a human approach. Kit is very robust and ORGANIC ENERGY are there to do that much more than just sell the equipment. Thanks again for over 10 years service.

From initial discussions, advice and design through to handover and support they were amazing. The system was installed beautifully, and is performing above expectation, using less than half the quantities of pellets that the previous system used.

Like several other reviewers here, we live in France and couldn't get the answers we so desperately needed here so contacted Organic Energy UK as a last resort. What can I say? they were not involved in our installation in any way but that didn't stop Jan from coming to our rescue when we needed help. I can't speak highly enough of their customer service. They are 'simply the best'.

The Okofen product is thoroughly well engineered and we are very proud to own such a system. Having bought a house in the countryside with only solid fuel heating and open fires we were left with gas, oil, electric or biomass options when we came to install a new heating system. As we are listed, many options were unrealistic and getting permission for the flue was not simple but possible with some limitations (colour, height etc). It was a big decision as the wood pellet system (Pellematic PE25 with FleXILO hopper) is not cheap but with the RHI rebate it becomes more affordable and with the bonus that our heating fuel is carbon neutral. Our installer recommended the Okofen system and we were sold on its quality, engineering technology and how well the entire system is integrated. The location we chose for our boiler was a bit tighter than our installer was happy with but Andy (Organic Energy) made a site visit and reassured us all that it would fit. The install was complicated due to 800mm thick stone walls but completed with little mess and we could not be happier. To be honest in a small house or cottage the vacuum fill and self cleaning process would be noisy but only last 10 minutes each day; as our boiler is in its own room this is not an issue. Programming is easy (once you get your head around how it works) and plenty of options to find the best setup for individual needs. We have found that getting blown pellet supplies of less than 3 tonne is difficult and probably not cheaper than buying in bags but we do not want to hand fill so buy 4 tonnes at a time which easily fit in the hopper even if it is not completely empty. We have even been complimented by the pellet delivery company on the layout of the system! We could not be happier with the Okofen product, the installers or the support supplied by Orgainc Energy at every stage of the project. Highly recommended.

Organic Energy go way beyond what I would consider good customer service. From our first discussion with Andy they have always been professional and helpful in answering questions about Biomass boilers - a technology previously unknown to us. Having chosen an Oekefen 64kW boiler we then trusted Jan at Organic Energy to specify the distribution system and controls - We took a flyer here not really understanding what we were getting! Boy am I glad we did as the system works really well. I mentioned customer service earlier - A week after the system was commissioned Jan called to ask if the flats hot water cylinder had been installed correctly as he had noticed (via the internet link) that the water was heating up when it was not switched on. Simple issue to sort (I had it on manual!) but just shows how much Organic Energy care about their customers.

We moved to France and bought our house in the spring, complete with an OkoFen Pellematic at the heart of its heating system. All seemed well until the evenings got cooler and the heating didn't work at night. We called the French installers and while they tried their best to explain the control system over the phone we couldn't solve it. Facing some chilly nights until they could come to our aid I searched the web in vain for an instruction book. In desperation I called the UK company for OkoFen to see if they had an instruction book and it was Jan who answered the phone. Not only did Jan reassure me he would send me an instruction book, he got me to describe our heating system in detail. He then very precisely and patiently talked me through the complete programming process! His technical knowledge and the time he devoted to my problems and to explaining how to use the system properly in the future was amazing. We're now toasty warm. I can't thank Jan enough for his professionalism. If the boiler is as good as this technical support team then it's the best.
