There was no consultation or any discussion about if I’m allergic to any oils or if I have any injuries or what my areas of concerns was. My therapist didn’t seem to know any techniques apart from using her elbows and knuckles in my shoulders and neck, not even the basic effleurage to get the body warmed up was applied. Majority of the time was just spent on my neck and shoulders, I wasn’t even covered when laying on the bed, then it was like 5 mins or so on the feet and back of the legs, which again was just her digging with her knuckles. The rest of my body didn’t even get a massage and before I knew it she had finished. I was so shocked at what I just experienced that’s I just said thank you got dressed and left. When going on their website to find an email address to contact them I also noticed that the price was different from what I was changed. They have the massage advertised for £40 but I was changed £45. I’m a qualified therapist my self so I know what a massage should feel like and to me it seemed like the lady was qualified at all.

I would not recommend this business for the following reasons: - masseuse wordlessly and suddenly left the massage half way through to answer the phone. She did not wash her hands or use hand santiser when she returned. - masseuse did not know the name of the massage she was giving me. It felt very odd (compared to normal Swedish or deep tissue massages) and it hurt. I had to ask her to stop rubbing hard over my spine and bones. I wondered if she had been trained properly. In general there was no conversation about what massage I wanted or whether I had any injuries to know about.
