Stayed at the hotel for a night, was in a good location, just a few minutes walk from central town. Got in & the woman was very friendly, said there was a plumbing issue in our originally booked room & said we had a free upgrade to the family room. The room was nice, beds were comfy and there was a kettle and fan available as well, which was nice. The soundproofing is a bit weak but it didn’t bother us as everyone was pretty silent by midnight. TV worked well too and we had a really good nights sleep It was perfect for the price & we enjoyed our stay.

Rooms: Rooms had everything we needed, quite basic but spacious and all facilities. Bottled water left in the room which was a nice touch. Safety: Felt very safe, keycard to access the building and room.

Room itself was very nice for the price with a small kitchen. Reception isn’t always staffed so despite us saying when we were coming to check in, no one was there. We called all the websites on the website and door multiple times and received no response. Finally got let in about 15 mins. Otherwise great location and room Room was very nice with kitchen, tv, towels etc Walkability: Very walkable to all areas of york

Dissapointed to say the least. Got there the room wasn't ready said it would be in about 20 mins. Half an hour later still waiting paid the parking charge as told there was parking only to find the parking was full! Only 3 spaces to begin with. The room wasn't the cleanest with bugs and insects crawling the floors. Hairs from previous people in the toilet. The shower was pathetic as water trickled out of it. Shower drain was blocked. The shower door was hanging off luckily I know my way around things and managed to fix it! In the morning the fire alarm went off at 8am and we had to wait for a guy to come from another hotel to check it out and turn it off!! The only good thing was the bed being a semi decent size!! Overall quite dismal and dissapointing. Will not be staying here again!!
