Thank you to the team at Parkers. We agreed what we thought was a realistic sale price and Parkers kindly reduced their commission. Once instructed, Parkers set up a what'sapp group to keep us posted and arranged numerous viewings within hours and our house sold for more than the asking price, in less than 24 hours. We dealt mostly with Dale as we approached exchange, and due to issues at the top of the chain, out of Dale's control, he was proactive, keeping things moving and very reassuring and sympathetic during what became a protracted 3 weeks reaching exchange. We highly recommend Dale and Parkers at Spencers Wood to anyone looking for decent estate agents, who get things done and keep you in the loop.

Warning to anybody looking to purchase property at Villa Place in Swallowfield! We wasted 8 months waiting for delusional vendors who lied to us about moving into a rental property (after we had already spent thousands on solicitors and a survey in good faith of this promise). They then proceeded to ask for 20k more 8 months later because they can’t actually afford the fantasy home they are looking for. Parkers seemed to happily support this unethical behaviour the whole time so would strongly advise to avoid this estate agents. This property is now on the market at 45k more than was originally accepted. Update: Just because it’s been re sold doesn’t meant it’s completed. Update 03/2022: property didn’t sell, still owned by the same people.
