I have used Ideal home improvements team for several projects in my home and my rental property, including some much needed landscaping. Their quality of work is outstanding, the team are a lovely friendly bunch, very hard working and very grateful for the odd cuppa and biscuit! Paul has an amazing eye for design and detail. Do not use this company. They fitted my new bathroom and a year after it still isn't working correctly. It appears to have been piped up incorrectly, bath taps have no pressure and you have to open another tap to get the bath tap to run properly. They will not answer the phone or respond to emails to call back. Steer very clear of this lot.

4 years on from having my bathroom done, it still looks as good as the day the job was finished and I have had no problems at all. I have no hesitation in recommending Paul Smith Ideal Home Improvement to anyone who is looking for a friendly reliable builder to do their alterations.

Big Disappointment. Just visited to my son's home in Rochester, where he's had the bathroom improved ,using Paul Smith Home Improvemnts Ltd. The job started back in May and here we are in August with many jobs unfinished. We hear of rogue builders but Paul Smith is trading illegally by using the name Home Improvements. He's made this job a joke. He quoted a week to carry out the work. Here we are 3 months later and still not completed this job. Farcical . Had to tick 1 star, otherwise cannot post this comment. Doesn't deserve the 1 star.
