Discusting battered cod fish which is mouldy around the ends there not even 100% halal an have got a dodgy halal sign up on the window to get Muslims customers in my sister recommended this nasty chippy so thought it was summat special what we was served was horrific most of the reviews on here are fake from people they know

Food use to be great. Seems like they using cheap potatoes and cheap oil. Chips are excessively soft and oily even though they've just come out. The colour of the chips are always dark which is 2 things, high starch potatoes, dirty oil. Prices are high and quality is low. Friendly service no doubt about it. But the food needs to be good. It's just a matter of time before a vacant shop opens into a chippy and they will loose all their customers.
