Update 1 (to their comment): Thanks for such a corporate answer. "...open about our diversity figures, all of which are visible on our website, 40% of our colleagues are nonwhite British..." I don't know where these numbers are coming up. It seems like Peak is one of those masquerade companies that would do everything to appear nice on the website. Putting "diversity and inclusion are core to our business." everywhere on your websites to appear "fashionable" is not cool. Lucy Tannahill, the Head of People, completely ignores candidates. While I understand she might have a fancy title and she's "important", it would reflect nicely on the company to send an automated rejection email. You are an AI company after all. It only took a 1 star rating. So now you're happy to feedback on the application and explain why he wasn't selected for the next stage. It says a lot about Peak, doesn't it? Original: Discriminatory recruitment process. I have two friends who applied for the same role. One from a different ethnic background applied a while ago and never heard back, but he has a plethora of experience. My other friend (white) applied two days ago and was immediately invited for an informal chat. He just graduated and has little to no experience. I am happy for him, but it says a lot about Peak's discriminating recruiting procedure. He is now invited for a technical interview.
