After a few phone calls we met her a couple of months before the wedding and she was nothing but friendly and comforting from the day we met. After the chat she sent us a few draft for the vows and they were perfect. She really got the feel of how we wanted the day to go. We had an EXCELLENT experience from start to finish with Tanya for our Wedding day. Everything from the first email, initial meet up- to the actual Wedding day. I suffer quite badly with anxiety, but Tanya put me at ease instantly and explained to me exactly how the process would work from start to finish. The way we were able to personalize our ceremony made it so intimate and romantic- exactly what I wanted! I would highly recommend Tanya, as a wedding can be stressful enough and Tanya takes all of the stress out of the Ceremony part! Tanya was extremely calm and made us all feel at ease- at no point did I worry that Tanya was not on top of everything!

We were married last Saturday and we chose Tanya from Perfect Promises to be our Celebrant. I first contacted Tanya a long while ago after she was recommended to us by a friend. We chatted on the phone as if we'd known each other for ages! Tanya kept in touch even though our Ceremony was quite a long time away. She sent us a beautiful personalised note book which I used for all my wedding notes and lists. We eventually met up at our venue and we filled in a questionnaire so that Tanya could make sure our ceremony and vows were exactly what we wanted and personalised to us. On the Day she really helped to calm our nerves and was nothing but friendly and professional. After the Ceremony we were presented with beautifully gift wrapped boxes containing our certificate, our vow booklets and copies of the whole ceremony all on gorgeous printed stationery. I would not hesitate to recommend Tanya and will certainly be staying in touch with our new friend 😊.

Tanya was absolutely amazing! From the moment we first spoke I knew she would be the perfect person to conduct our ceremony. She is warm, kind, friendly, personable and so understanding of how important it is to have a ceremony which reflects YOU as a couple and a family rather than the traditional (and very impersonal) registrar led approach. My husband and I were not only getting married but also bringing his three sons into a new ‘modern family’ so we wanted to ensure they were acknowledged and made to feel part of our union. Tanya orchestrated this perfectly, with a ceremony that included every element of what we described being important to us. We laughed and cried in equal measure and we will honestly remember this small part of the day as being not only emotional and heartwarming, but as the moment that we truly became husband and wife. We cannot speak highly enough of Tanya’s skills, from creating such a well balanced ceremony which our guests loved as much as we did to her immaculate presentation and articulation which just made us feel so at home and comfortable in her presence. Every detail was planned out and it ran so smoothly, from leading our guests to take their seats to inviting the boys up to sign our certificate (which was just one of her fantastic ideas) to telling guests when to throw the confetti! We wanted a ceremony that reflected us, was informal, fun, refreshing, non-traditional and included our wonderful boys and Tanya achieved that and so much more! We are truly grateful to have found someone who understands how important those moments are to you and we both reflect on our wedding ceremony with so much joy and happiness, it honestly was the best part of our wedding day and that is all due to Tanya. I would recommend anyone who wants their ceremony to be memorable and unique to contact Tanya and let her plan it with you.
