Unfortunately I had to delete my 5* review of another member of staff because I had to voice the awful customer service I received from a member of staff named Aaron. Unfortunately when I came into the store I probably looked very unkempt as at the moment I am very ill. I noticed him take one look at me and whisper to his colleague, to which he then came from behind the till and began to follow me, this i can kind of understand, as there are a lot of shoplifters in Southampton… But what he did after this was the main reason for this bad review. I approached the till and asked if they had a list of digital items they sell for the Xbox as I have just bought a digital only Xbox. He took one look at me, pointed at the wall and said “Out there”. I found it incredibly rude but I decided to follow instructions to which I found no digital games at all, when i turned back toward the till Aaron was just getting ready to leave the store. I then asked his female colleague who was absolutely lovely, she actually told me that they very rarely sell digital codes. Please improve, i used to love this shop.

Staff are nice but the location is awful. I used to like going into Game but now I have to walk into a tacky Sports Direct where Game is squashed into a small corner of the shop to save costs on rent presumably. They should look at relocating. The Sports Direct crowd/music kinda ruins the vibe of walking into a shop exclusively for gamers

Second time at Southamptons Game store spending time stood in the queue only to get to the front and be told it is out of stock. If they could put a note on the game shelf to state that it is out of stock so no one wastes their time that would be great. Better just to order games online than waste your time queuing for games they don't have

Fallen off a cliff edge since the move. Got copies of games out on the shelf that they don't even have in stock, you literally can't tell what's in or not. Spend ages waiting for them to check and then end up leaving empty handed. You try and support bricks and mortar stores and people's jobs and whoever is responsible is just letting it go to rack and ruin. I'm happy to pay a few quid more as well if it keeps more shops open and means high street isn't just endless Costa coffees. You can't blame Amazon when you're own mismanagement forces customers to go online. Embarrassing.
