R High & Son based in Sittingbourne, have been my family’s chosen funeral service for as long as I can remember. I contacted them immediately following my elderly mother’s death in February and they were very helpful and supportive. Myself with members of my family, initially met with Jo as soon as we had the death certificate, and although this being an especially difficult time for us, I was immediately impressed with her professionalism as she was able to advise us on a choice of arrangements available to us that could accommodate both my mother’s wishes and the family’s expectations. The funeral was planned to take place at the Garden of England Crematorium in Bobbing, and Matthew had been assigned to head up the proceedings and called me on two occasions beforehand to confirm whether there was anything else that I needed and to explain what we can expect on the day. One of these calls was on the afternoon before the day of the funeral as final confirmation of the arrangements which provided assurance and was very much welcomed at the time. The funeral itself exceeded our expectations, although helped by the good weather, it was no less because of Matthew and his team on the day that contributed to its success. I would highly recommend R High & Son for their expertise, compassion, and customer service that they provide at a particularly difficult time.

My family and I received excellent service from High and Son, During both the arranging and on the day of my late fathers funeral. I dealt mostly with Samantha and Karl who were really helpful and sympathetic. The other members of staff were also, equally good. Jo, Carl and the team made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in. The support and care they gave me and my family throughout the arrangements and then the funeral was second to none. Within three months both my Mum and Dad sadly passed away. For both funerals we used R High & Sons. My Brother and I went to our first meeting to start the planning for Mum. We were treated with the greatest of respect and the unknown procedures for planning a funeral were explained, we felt so supported through the whole process. Check phone calls were always answered with warmth and understanding and emails were replied to promptly. The processes involved in Order of Service, Funeral Notices, Music, Flowers and Donations were all so efficient. Mum's funeral was perfect and Dad was able to contribute by being recorded and then played on the day. Dad's funeral was equally as lovely, his requests to have a military service was accomplished. We are most grateful for the support we received, which made a very tragic time easier to bear.

For such a sad occasion we were shown respect and courtesy from when we booked the funeral to when The funeral took place. All our wishes were carried out.
