  Really really lovely staff, very helpful and attentive. Massage was excellent. The food was good too! Highly recommend for a spa day, in a prime location so easy to get to and get on with the rest of your weekend after.

  I had an ok stay at the NYX hotel in Holborn.. there were some downfalls though. When we first arrived at reception they had touch screen devices to check you into the hotel and to also check you out of the hotel. None of the screens were working properly so had to queue for a while to check in and to check out. On my booking I paid £39 for rose petals to be put on the bed (I know £39 is extortionate for some rose petals on a bed) but I wanted to make the experience extra special as the night away was for my partners birthday. I had made it clear in my booking it was for my partners birthday too. When we got to our room, we opened the door and there were no rose petals on the bed, of course I was immediately disappointed, I went and told reception about the issue and they refunded me my money. The manager wasn’t very apologetic/didn’t seem to really care about my issue and just wanted to refund my money quickly as there was a queue behind me. We also had issues with the hot water in our room, water was stone cold and wasn’t warming up at all even after running the water for 10-15 mins, I called down to reception and they did fix the issue within 15 minutes. But I was still disappointed as hot water should be available at all times!! I wanted a hot shower but had to sit and wait in my towel. Our room was really nice and spacious (I paid £44 for an upgrade to a bigger room on my package) the bed was SO comfy and big and I had a great nights sleep! Loved the interior of the room too! The room was very clean and immaculate. The mini bar in the room was really over priced.. £7.50 for a cocktail can that I can buy the exact same one in sainsburys for £1.50.. I would avoid using the mini bar in the room purely because of the price of the drinks in it. The pool was a nice size BUT the water was really cold.. it wasn’t enjoyable to be in as it was so cold, everyone around us was saying how cold the water was as well. I booked a 50 minute massage for me and my partner, it was really nice and relaxing, we both thoroughly enjoyed the treatment. You also get a towel, dressing gown and slippers which is nice. The steam room and sauna were good as well. Breakfast in the morning was OK, not the best I’ve had.. the hash browns had definitely been sitting there all morning and were very dry but I enjoyed the granola pots. Overall it was an ok stay at the NYX hotel but I wouldn’t come back here and I won’t be recommending it to anyone.

  I had nice relaxing experience at Rena SPA, lovely pool, good massage, very friendly profesional staff, nice steam and sauna, full of colours and artistic touch facilities. I give 4 stars only because there was no relaxing music at the pool zone, very weak hairdryers and it was disappointing finding out I can't have my coffe after my delicious meal at NYX restaurant, because mashine was off or smth and we can't have a drink at the top roof bar because it's closed. Despite the fact it was my birthday SPA day treat I will come back eventually with hope to have a good coffe and drink at the top roof bar. It's nice place to explore just check with staff before you book anything, if all you expecting will be available on a day you plan to visit.

  Not bad place , not too busy swimming pool and facilities are good and towels provided however the only thing they didn’t have was a jacuzzi apart from that it was great

  From the booking of this place, I had realised that I had made a big mistake - I had to chase reception about the booking and to organise time of treatment. Then lunch that was included in the package was appalling- again had to be chased after waiting an hour - then it was frozen stuff, not even properly thawed. The size of pool and the caudalie treatment is the reason I gave it 2 stars instead of one. This place seriously requires management improvement - it has got such potential.
