  I attended an interview at right at home, they offered me the job. After attending all the training, they requested my references. My professional references come back absolutely fine, they then requested a character reference which I offered multiple people for them to contact. People that I know, people I’ve worked with, people that are close to me. All of which they have refused to accept. I’m unsure on what they believe a character reference is? Thanks for letting me waste 3 weeks to then become the most difficult company. If someone could contact me and let me know what a character reference might be I’d appreciate it because I’ve been told by the union that an old college could be a character reference.

  After being made redundent due to covid I put my C.V. on indeed and Right At Home got in contact with me. spoke to a lovely lady called Syma who arranged and gave me an interveiw. I was given job. I work with a fanstic team who are all surportive if you need some advice or need to chat about something personal there is always someone you can chat to. Our team work hard in making sure our clients needs are meet they all do little things singing, baking, some buy flowers, buy birthday cards but above all else a loving and friendly smile. We care about the clients. When we here their life stories we feel that we can learn from them. If ever i needed care at any time of my life I would choose my team because they are honest, loving and caring people theres not one person on our team I wouldn't have caring for me.

  I have had the incredible opportunity to work at Right at Home and to witness how much they value and care for their clients and their team. They go above and beyond to make sure that they hire the best carers, who are very well trained and supported by an extraordinary team. They use state-of-the-art technology to provide the carers and the clients an impeccable service and they make sure that the whole team is updated and prepared to cope with the numerous government guidelines, so that they can provide excellent care. Most importantly, the clients' needs always come first and we make sure that they always have a choice. It’s a company that shares all my values and I feel that I belong to this amazing family, where everyone is so lovely, kind, polite, supportive, thoughtful and understanding. It has been a fantastic journey, where I have learnt so much in such a short period and I have met lovely angels everywhere I go. I will deeply miss you all, it has been an absolute pleasure to work at Right at Home.

Going the extra mile & really getting to know our Clients is part of what we do on a daily basis to enable our valued Clients the choice to remain in their own homes & to encourage independence for as long as possible. A huge part of which is of building trust, transparency & good communication. Our Care is tailored to suit the individual needs of every client we support, as our belief is, that no one size fits all! We take a great pride in arriving for work with a positive attitude & a welcoming smile- giving our clients the same excellence of Service we would expect for ourselves & nothing less. A huge part of being able to offer this excellent Service is that great care is taken right from the start during the interview process & selection stage to 'carefully choose' the best Caregivers with the right attitude who are then matched to individual Clients. Since joining Right@Home- Medway, I have seen how Clients & their families lives have been positively impacted from receiving the right Care Package at the right time & having the right team of Caregivers in place when they need it most. In order to deliver such Service, the team is supported by each other & by our invaluable Team Leader & Manager who I can honestly say have so far always made themselves available to us at the end of the phone when needed & who ensure we are safe & looked after in providing ongoing practical & online training. Roughly every quarter, we meet for a social evening out & let our hair down which is a great way to meet others on the team who we may not usually work with & a great way to add value & strengthen our team. Giving best quality Care is what we do best & since joining the Right@Home- Medway Team, for every challenge there have been as many laughs & high points. A thank you or a smile from a client as we arrive really makes a huge positive difference for us as Caregivers too. Over the last few months since being a part of the team, I have benefitted from being a valued team member & gained new skills & refreshed a few along the way.   I work at right at home this is the best care agency I have ever worked for. They are so different then other agency's they give u travel time in between the calls they are easy to approach if u have any concerns about anything they introduce you to the client before u start which I think that is a good thing to do for ur self and the client I would recommend right at home if you know anyone who needs help.
