Caine and Jim remodelled our downstairs. They were professional, responsive and helpful, often suggesting ways to improve the end result. They were really considerate and planned the work scheduled based on the space we had available to live in during the work. They cleaned up at the end of each day and left us with a kitchen sink for as long as possible. Any snags were rectified and issues dealt with swiftly end once they’d moved onto the next job. We had a fantastic experience using Rightlook Carpentry & Construction. From the outset Caine and his team were great. Having an extension can be a daunting prospect with lots of things to consider. Caine made the process easy with excellent advice, particularly when we didn’t know what we wanted and what was actually achievable. No problem or query was too small for him. We had regular meetings to discuss the various stages of the project. Caine was clear in telling us what was happening and we were kept constantly in the loop. Caine and the various members of his team, were very friendly and that helped a great deal as the project lasted several months. Any mess was kept to a minimum and the site was always left incredibly tidy at the end of each day. The costs and any changes to the original quotation were always very clear and never once were we caught by any unforeseen charges. I would definitely recommend Rightlook Carpentry & Construction to anyone considering having building work done. I would certainly use them again in the future.

From start to finish, the communication has been outstanding. Caine answered all of our questions and kept us fully informed throughout the duration of the project along with liaising with all of the other trades involved. Caine shared his experience and advice with us regarding aspects of the project that we were uncertain of which was a great benefit as he went that extra mile to ensure that our kitchen re-model would be both practical and functional for our family. Throughout the project, Caine and Jim consistently left our property clean and tidy at the end of each day and worked tirelessly to ensure that timeframes were met. What can I say about Caine, but what a wonderful guy, lovely manner and great work ethic. He’s a young man, but his manners are impeccable. Book him for his character alone. That said, his work is outstanding. He takes pride in what he does, he’s honest, you can leave him to get on with the job, your property will be safe and that know he’ll do an honest days work. We used Caine and his company, Rightlook Carpentry & Construction to carry out an extensive remodel and refit of the ground floor of our home to create an open plan kitchen and dining room and relocating the utility room. This included knocking down walls, building new walls, laying a floor, new stairs, replacing windows, installing French doors and fitting the kitchen. From the start of the project, Caine impressed with his clear, fair pricing and terms of business. Despite the difficulties caused by the Covid pandemic, Caine and Jim’s planning, organisation, experience, expertise and flexibility ensured our project was a complete success. We are extremely happy with the high quality of the finished work. Not only is he a great builder, who works very hard, he has a lovely, positive personality and worked very respectfully in our home. We were so happy with Caine & Jim that we recently had them back again to undertake a bathroom project.
