OMG! Never been in such a filthy, cobweb, spider 🕷 inhabited place! Shower head, 🤢🤮 shower tray, mouldy! Had to vacuum the chrysalis round carpet edges, dead spiders, dog hairs! States NO pets! Beams covered in cobwebs. Owner said it'd been cleaned with covid, the place had never been cleaned in over 12 months!! All the windows were inches deep in cobwebs! Vile.

Absolutely Gorgeous Luxury isn't the word, everything is like a show house. The main bedroom is very large, the bed is king-size and very comfortable, with ensuite shower room. Nextdoor is family bathroom with over bath shower. The twin room is also spacious and looks comfortable, both rooms have plenty of wardrobe and draw space. The living area is very large with nice seating area around the wood burner. There is a TV and DVD player. The kitchen area is well laid out with dishwasher, washing machine, fridge and even a countertop freezer. The breakfast bar is great. There is everything you could want, nothing has been skimped on. There was bread, eggs, milk, biscuits, tea, coffee, sugar provided as a welcome pack. The underfloor heating is wonderful, there are thermostats in all the rooms. There is a large log burner, but it isn't required except for ambiance. The logs provided and I was told just to take more from the log store when needed. Plenty of sockets in all areas and even motion activated lights in dark corridor. You are on a working farm but there wasn't any noise problems, there is a mild farm stock smell outside but inside it is undetectable (if that would be a problem the other cottage Haddock's Nook would suit you better). The WiFi is good running at about 20mbps. Parking is right next to the cottage. The owner is friendly and very helpful. The fishing is good and close by, but not so close that it will disturb you. We will be coming again.
